This Chenin Blanc reflects an obsessive desire to create great, powerful and opulent wines from this grape variety. The grapes are carefully transferred, with the must finishing fermentation in newer French oak barrels. In addition, a larger proportion of botrytised grapes is blended in, which raises the residual sugar to a rich and ripe level, delivering a smooth aroma of cotton candy, peach and apricot with a long-lasting finish.

Stellenrust has won the international trophies for the best Chenin Blanc in the world at the International Wine & Spirit Competition for two consecutive years. This Chenin Blanc was 100% spontaneously fermented in new oak barrels. The wine then matured on its fine lees for 7 months. The assemblage included 7% botrytized grapes.
