Vinifikation The 2023 vintage was a huge challenge, but fortunately all grapes were harvested before the March rains. This had no negative impact as the vines were naturally irrigated, which helped to reduce the effects of water stress on the vines, allowing them to ripen better and grow optimally. The vineyards had even budburst and initial growth was also even, mainly due to the above-average maximum and minimum temperatures in September. The quality of the grapes was very good and led to an exceptional vintage: the length of the season, the coolness and the reduced yields resulted in a high-quality harvest. The Pinot Noir was aged for 9 months in 26% new 228L French oak barrels.
