Hibiscus and plum in the bouquet, underscored by fresh herbs such as bay leaf and sage, transitioning into the scent of fresh rain. The spicy and silky aroma of the Shiraz variety unfolds on the palate into an opulent taste of plum pudding with cloves, purple wild berries, and a structured Cabernet framework. Super juicy and loaded. Paper-fine tannins glide over a lemony, zesty acidity in the finish, which is equally bright and appealingly dry. Excellent drinkability without sacrificing concentration.

Vinifikation
The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec originate from selected vineyard blocks on the Helderberg in the Stellenbosch appellation. The soils typical of the Helderberg provide a rich mid-palate weight and give the wine exceptional depth and fruitiness. The altitude of approximately 250 metres above sea level and the cooling influence of the Atlantic Ocean, only 15 kilometres away, extend the ripening period by up to 3 weeks, resulting in beautiful phenolic ripeness.
