Vinifikation The Warwick Winery relies on organic cultivation to obtain the best berries from its vines. Therefore, the estate only considers extremely measured pest control in order to let nature take its course as much as possible. In addition to the excellent quality of the berries, soil condition is also a measure of all these efforts at Warwick. Only a so-called living soil has enough nutrients to optimally nourish the vines. A steadily increasing earthworm population is a good sign of the consistent and probably even increasing quality of Warwick's wines. The grapes are hand-picked, sorted, and fermented for 36 days with regular pump-overs. The wine matured for 27 months in 65% new French barriques.
