Vinifikation The Warwick winery relies on organic farming to produce the best grapes from its vines. Therefore, the wine farm only uses pest control in extremely measured doses to let nature take its course as much as possible. In addition to the excellent quality of the berries, the soil condition is also a measure of all these efforts at Warwick. Only a so-called living soil has enough nutrients to optimally supply the vines. A steadily increasing earthworm population is a good sign of the consistent and probably even increasing quality of Warwick's wines. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted, and fermented for 36 days with regular pump-overs. The wine matured for 27 months in 65% new French barriques.
