Taste over 150 wines for free – South Africa Days 2025!
At the end of August, we’ll transform Wädenswil into a South African oasis of flavor! This year, we’re celebrating 29 years of KapWeine – The Home of South African Wine, and we’re inviting you to a summer party like no other.
You can look forward to a vast selection of over 150 wines, all available for free tasting – from exciting new releases to beloved classics. Sparkling wine lovers won’t be disappointed either: A special MCC showcase will bring real highlights to your glass. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet South African winemakers in person, who will present their wines on-site.
The true South African experience comes alive with the Braai/Grill stand and the iconic Springbok Bar, where you can enjoy typical local specialties. All of this is accompanied by live music, setting the perfect atmosphere. Browse through Arts & Crafts stalls, discover delicious food offerings, or get inspired by exciting travel talks from Knecht Reisen about your next adventure.
The wine tasting runs until 20:00, while the summer party continues until 22:00. Come by, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and celebrate 29 years of KapWeine with us – we can’t wait to see you there!

Food and Drinks
On Friday from 17:00 and Saturday from 12:00, our grill/braai will be fired up. Look forward to tender zebra fillet, ostrich steak, and boerewors, served with delicious sides like chickpea curry or wedges. Perfectly paired with a glass of wine, a cold beer, or a refreshing soft drink from our Springbok Bar. Pure indulgence in a relaxed atmosphere!
