The palate is well balanced with fine-grained tannins; the mainly red fruit is pure and nicely integrated with the oak. In the mouth it gradually builds to a salty finish and a slightly fishy aftertaste. It needs two or three years in bottle, but it should develop into a very fine Estate Reserve.
