Anyone who has ventured to South Africa will surely have heard the name Leopard’s Leap. We couldn't resist and have expanded our range with more than 10 wines from this producer.
Leopard’s Leap, which means the Leopard's Leap, is the epitome of an innovative wine project, the brainchild of Hein Koegelenberg, the winemaker and MD of Leopard’s Leap. He is supported by his wife Hanneli Rupert-Koegelenberg, daughter of Anthony Rupert. The Rupert family owns several wine farms like A. Rupert, La Motte, and is involved in Rupert&Rothschild, the French-South African joint venture.

The combination of modern design, relaxed ambiance, innovative food and wine experiences explains the popularity of Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards as a family-friendly destination and as an alternative option within Franschhoek’s esteemed culinary offerings. With a show kitchen, food & wine are celebrated here.
The Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards are deeply committed to the conservation of the magnificent Cape mountain leopard by sponsoring the Cape Leopard Trust, which aims to save this endangered predator from extinction. Even today, several leopards still live in the Cape Wine Lands around Cape Town. They are regularly captured by trail cameras as they roam through the vineyards in the wine regions. It's a fascinating thought that these shy animals still inhabit the mountain landscapes around the Cape today.

Classic Leopard’s Leap Wines
The Classic Leopard’s Leap line offers wine beginners pleasant, fruity wines that are uncomplicated and enjoyable to drink – and always at a fair price.
Culinaria Collection Wines
These wines are crafted, as the name suggests, specifically for food pairing, but not exclusively. It is intended to be a celebration of harmony, where food and wine complement each other to create optimal enjoyment through mutual enhancement.
Special Edition Wines
Special bottlings of wines recognized in the cellar as extraordinary and then separately bottled under the Special Edition line.
Pardus
Inspired by the King of the Cape Mountains, the Pardus expresses the charismatic interplay between intensity and elegance of the magnificent Cape mountain leopard, while being gentle and approachable.
Earlier this year, the first delivery of wines arrived in Switzerland, surprising with their taste and consistency. A wide range of South African wines from this new producer is now available in our online shop or in our showroom in Wädenswil.
To celebrate this new addition to our over 1000 products, these wines will be offered at the tasting event on February 4th and 5th.

CULINARIA MCC NV

The MCC has a vibrant liveliness, capturing subtle citrus aromas that culminate in light, lingering caramel, toast, and nougat. These charming aromas continue on the palate, resulting in a wonderfully balanced wine with a long-lasting finish. The soft, integrated tannins, created by careful aging in a combination of French oak barrels, make this wine an easily accessible blend that is easy to drink even at a relatively young age.
