Terroir & Origin
Warwick Estate in Stellenbosch is renowned for its outstanding soils and climatic conditions. The vineyards are situated at cooler altitudes, which ensures slow ripening and particularly complex aromas. In short: the perfect terrain for a top-tier Chardonnay!
Winemaking & Aging
The grapes are carefully hand-picked, gently pressed, and then fermented in French oak barrels – 40% of which are new barrels, to give the wine that wonderfully subtle woody note. Afterwards, it is left on its lees for 10 months, making it beautifully creamy and complex.
