Visit our South Africa events in Wädenswil and immerse yourself in them World of wines and braai / grill!

You want to find out more about the cuisine and what South Africa has to offer, then reserve the following dates in your agenda. Because there is no better way to discover the diversity of wines. Even if you are not a wine connoisseur, you will get the right taste pretty quickly and know which grape varieties and wines you like.

KapWeine conducts a wine tasting nine times a year at our company headquarters in Wädenswil. The tastings are free and usually without prior registration. We always try to present new wines from our 1,300 different wines and of course to be able to offer you attractive offers.

In general, you benefit from a 20% pick-up-payment discount * at the event.

“Meet the Producers” tasting

Visit our “Meet the Producers” degustation at the end of March, where some well-known producers from South Africa will present their great wines and new products to you. Exchange ideas personally with the local winemakers and let yourself be enchanted by South Africa’s wine culture. In addition, a balanced range of wines by the glass awaits you to linger, enjoy, discover and talk shop about.

But what would a KapWeine event be without authentic South African braai? As always, boerewors, ostrich and zebra fillets are sizzling on the braai / grill. Of course, the vegetarian guests are also catered for, with a South African vegetable stew

KapWeine is participating in Matter of Taste 2022 at The Dolder Grand Hotel, representing the wines of South Africa. Meet winemakers and taste the best wines from around the world. As one of the biggest wine experiences of the year open to the European public, over 150 famous wineries from around the world will be showcased with wines scoring 90-100 Robert Parker points.

In honour of our loyal clientele and our many years of existence, a special South African summer party awaits you at the end of August. Because this year “die KapWeine – The Home of South African Wine” will be 26 years old!

Immerse yourself in the South Africa Days in Wädenswil and taste novelties, perennial favourites, magnum hammer deals and killer deal offers. A number of producers will be on hand to present their wines in person. With over 200 tasting wines on offer, an MCC and gin showcase, you won’t miss out on our Cüpli bar and our Braai/grill stand. «Taste the Best» Exclusive tasting

We open our wine treasures! Annually on the last Friday and Saturday in September.

Join us at this year’s Taste the Best event and taste some of the best South Africa has to offer. We will open the crème de la crème for you and bring mature classics from our wine cellar to light. Experience first-hand what our wines from 2000 to 2020 have to offer. From rarities to top brands, there’s a lot on offer. «New Wave Rebels» as well as «Old Guns» will also inspire the wine world with their liquid works of art. On these days, let Andy Zimmermann personally introduce you to the secrets of these special wines and take the opportunity to experience the desirable maturation process, the world-class terroir and the quality of South African wines.
