KapWeine not only offers the opportunity to enjoy a South African wine safari but also contributes to the promotion of culture. On January 8, 2023, the anniversary gala "Musical Journey Around the World" promises a journey through the senses with the renowned works of Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, Rossini, Paganini, and Brahms. Visitors can also enjoy popular overtures and opera excerpts, such as Carmen, La Traviata, La Bohème, and Rigoletto.
E. Tanaka (Soprano), Ch. Wang (Tenor), C. Hauri, G. Sanvito, V. Miecznikowski, M. Ferrazini, A. Rast, and F. Rossi will showcase their talent on stage and take us on a journey around the world with classical music.
"All soloists have won numerous international first prizes. Join us with family and friends – everyone will be thrilled!", Daniel Moos, musician and host of the evening, told us in an interview.
The Saal Zentrum Oberwis in Seuzach will be responsible for hosting this unique evening. The venue has 300 seats and ideal acoustics for musical events, allowing guests to enjoy the concert comfortably.
Tickets cost CHF 49.00 for adults (normal price) and CHF 25.00 for students. Children up to 14 years old are welcome free of charge.

Daniel Moos
Moos is a musician, presenter, and producer of musical events. He graduated in 1989 under Nora Doallo at the "Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana" Lugano. In 1990, he attended a master class under Irwin Gage at the Zurich University of Music.
Erika Tanaka
Erika Tanaka was born in Tokyo. She debuted as a soprano in July 2019 as Violetta Valéry in "La Traviata" by G. Verdi (Conticello / Bernard) in the production of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
The Teatro Comunale in Bologna had already been the venue for many of her debuts. In particular: in December 2018 Zerlina in "Don Giovanni" by W.A. Mozart (Mariotti / Sivadier); in July 2018 Lauretta in "Gianni Schicchi" by G. Puccini (Conticello / Brunetti); in June 2018 "A voice from heaven" in "Don Carlo" (Mariotti / Brockhaus); in 2017 Serpina in "La serva padrona" by G. B. Pergolesi (Conticello / Giardini); while in 2015 she was Norina in "Don Pasquale" by G. Donizetti (La Malfa / Marras) and in 2012 Aristea in "L'Olimpiade" by Myslivecek (Dohnànyi / Golàt).

Chuan Wang
Born in China, Chuan studied singing at the Guangzhou Conservatory, where he received his first-level diploma in 2012. He continued his studies in Italy at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. He enriched his experience with various performances such as Ernesto in Don Pasquale, Tonio in Ponchielli's I Promessi Sposi, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Orff's Carmina Burana, and master classes, qualifying in important international singing competitions.
His projects include the Duke in Rigoletto under the direction of Daniel Oren in Gilbert Deflo's historical staging, Ramiro in the children's version of La Cenerentola, and the tenor role in the world premiere of Madina at La Scala, Pang in Turandot and Duca in Rigoletto at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Carmina Burana in Brussels, Gernando and Ubaldo in Rossini's Armida in Marseille.

Claude Hauri
From his childhood until obtaining his teaching diploma at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, he was taught by Taisuke Yamashita. His further studies led him to Alain Meunier, Zara Nelsova, and to Raphael Wallfisch at the Zurich University of Music, where he completed his concert diploma. Principal cellist of the Ensemble Prometeo of Parma, he also played as section leader in the Jeunesse Musicale World Youth Orchestra. As a soloist and chamber musician, he pursues an intensive concert career and performs throughout Europe, Australia, and South America in concert series. As a soloist, he has appeared with numerous orchestras, including the Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional Argentina, the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, the Orchestra Antonio Vivaldi, the Orchestra di Fiati della Svizzera italiana, the Orquesta Sinfonica de Entre Rios, the Orquesta Sinfonico Uncuyo, the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova and conductors such as Piero Gamba, Reinaldo Zemba, Jeff Silberschlag, Carlo Balmelli, Franco Cesarini, Kevin Griffiths, Mario Ancillotti, and Luis Gorelik. Flaviano Rossi
Born in Milan, he obtained his diploma at the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory there, under the guidance of Maestro G. Montrucchio. He passed the subsequent soloist diploma, under Professors B. Cavallo and G. Cambursano, with distinction. He rounded off his basic musical education with master classes with Professors M. Larrieu, J. Galway, and C. Klemm.
As a prizewinner of several international competitions and after many years as a flutist in symphony orchestras (Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra Sinfonica RAI, Orchestra Sinfonica di S. Cecilia di Roma, Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Orchestra Sinfonica G. Verdi), he taught from 1994 to 2014 at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Corsico and currently at the music schools of Oberengadin and Mittelbünden.
He also pursues intensive chamber music and soloist activities.

Giovanni Sanvito
He studied oboe at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan under the direction of Maestros A. Caroldi, G. Toschi, and F. Pomarico and graduated with honors from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan in 1990. Parallel to his oboe studies, he attended courses in conducting, piano, and composition.
From 1992 to 1996, he regularly worked with the RAI Symphony Orchestra in Turin.
1st classified, Sesto San Giovanni, 1st classified (1990), Asti, 2nd ex-aequo (1989), Meda, finalist (1990), Cremona, finalist (1991), Rovereto, 2nd ex-aequo (1992).
Since 1995, in parallel with his concert activities, he has worked with various music schools as an oboe, solfeggio, piano, and choir teacher, and since 2018 he has conducted the Arogno Philharmonic, where he continues to be active.

Veronika Miecznikowski
Born in Basel in 2000, she began her first violin lessons at the age of five with Anna Paraschiv in Turin. She then studied with Anna Modesti at the Pre-College of the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano and later with Marco Rizzi at the Pre-College of the Mannheim University of Music. From 2014 to 2017, she was concertmaster of the Orchestra Giovanile della Svizzera Italiana and is a prizewinner of several national and international competitions, including the "Premio Crescendo" in Florence and the Swiss Youth Music Competition. Among her solo performances, the premiere of Fabio Arnaboldi's Suite for Violin and Orchestra with the North Caucasus Philharmonic Orchestra in Kislovodsk, Russia, deserves special mention. In June 2021, Veronika performs with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana for the Festival Ticino DOC and in November she plays with the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester in Mannheim, where she wins the Mozart Prize of the Kurpfälzische Mozartgesellschaft.

Milo Ferrazzini
Born in 2000, Milo began playing cello at the age of 4. In 2015, he was admitted to the Pre-College in Lugano in Prof. Yamashita's class.
He has been honored in inter- and national music competitions; in 2018, he won the 1st prize in the highest category at the Swiss Youth Music Competition. Thanks to this success, he received a scholarship from the Ruth and Ernst Burkhalter Foundation. In 2019, he won the 1st prize at the Entrada of the SJMW Duo category and the 1st prize with the Trio con moto in the Jugend musiziert national competition Germany.
He has performed at national and international music festivals, including the Seuzach concert series, Musica nel Mendrisiotto, Abendmusiken Willisau, Bellagio Music Festival, and Festival ECHOS.
In recent years, he has attended numerous masterclasses with Professors R. Wallfisch, R. Dieltiens, R. Rosenfeld, E. Dindo, W. Yang, T. Wick, and J. Goritzky. Photo: Tobs
Annika Rast
She was born on July 22, 2001, and began her flute lessons at the age of 6 with Francesca Gianoni at the music school of the Lugano Conservatory. In 2016, she was accepted into the "Pre-college" program of the Conservatory as a junior student and was a student of Alfred Rutz until 2020. in 2018, she performed Mozart's Flute Concerto in G major with the Orchestra da Camera del Locarnese and in March 2019 with the Orchestra Giovanile del Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. In 2017 and 2018, she held the position of first flute in the Orchestra Giovanile della Svizzera Italiana, with whom she toured in Italy and Spain. In 2018 and 2019, she also performed as first flute in the orchestra of the Soli Deo Gloria Ensemble and the Orchestra da Camera del Locarnese. From 2017 to 2019, she was a member of the Trio con moto (flute, cello, piano), with whom she won first prize in the "Bundeswettbewerb Jugend Musiziert" in Germany in 2019. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra.
