The scent of the tropics… Pineapple chunks, salted mango, papaya, and lime wedges drift on the breeze of orange blossom, honeysuckle and the faintest hint of summer fynbos. This enthralling bouquet continues on the palate, developing into stone fruit, freshly cut peaches, crisp nectarine, and tangy apple skin. The fruit coats the mouth and is rich, with an inherent vibrancy that continues into the chalky finish.

Vinifikation The Chenin Blanc grapes were harvested from individually selected, low-yielding bush and trellised vines in the Perdeberg region near Paarl. The grapes were hand-harvested in the cool of the early morning. On the sorting table, all excess stems and inferior berries were carefully removed. After the grapes were sorted, they were destemmed and lightly crushed. The wine was settled overnight, and the sediment was racked off the following day. After fermentation, contact with the lees was maintained for two months, with the lees stirred weekly, before being racked and stabilised prior to bottling. This wine is made in a fresh style without any oak component.
